✨ System Enchantments – Minecraft Bedrock
Vanilla enchanting expanded with 19 new enchantments.
System Enchantments completely expands the Minecraft Bedrock enchanting experience with a custom Mysterious Enchantment Table, random enchantment offers, bookshelf power, Lapis Lazuli costs, special item effects and 19 custom enchantments.
Instead of simply selecting an enchantment from a list, the system now follows a much more vanilla-style progression where your bookshelf setup, experience level and random enchantment seed determine the offers you receive.

🪄 Mysterious Enchantment Table
🧱 Crafting Recipe
Craft the Mysterious Enchantment Table using:
- 1 Book
- 2 Gold Blocks
- 1 Enchanting Table
- 3 Obsidian
✨ How Enchanting Works
🔮 Three Random Offers
Each time an item is placed in the table you can choose between three enchantment offers.
The offers are based on your own personal enchantment seed. Simply closing and reopening the menu does not reroll the available enchantments.
Your seed changes after successfully enchanting an item.
Higher offer slots can also contain a bonus secondary enchantment.
📚 Bookshelves & Enchanting Power
The table detects up to 15 Bookshelves.
Supported bookshelf types:
- Bookshelf
- Chiseled Bookshelf
Bookshelves should be placed two blocks away from the table, leaving one clear air block between the table and the bookshelf.
Shelves can be positioned at the same height as the table or one block higher.
More active bookshelves increase the enchanting power, allowing stronger and rarer enchantments to enter the offer pool.
💎 XP & Lapis Costs
System Enchantments follows the same basic philosophy as the vanilla Enchantment Table: the displayed level requirement is not the amount of XP lost.
| Offer | Actual Level Cost | Lapis Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Offer I | 1 Level | 1 Lapis Lazuli |
| Offer II | 2 Levels | 2 Lapis Lazuli |
| Offer III | 3 Levels | 3 Lapis Lazuli |
For example, if the third offer says Requires Level 30, you must be level 30 or higher, but only 3 levels and 3 Lapis Lazuli are consumed after enchanting.
🔐 Safe Item Storage
Only one item can be placed on a table at a time.
The player who places the item owns that enchanting session until the item is removed.
Other players cannot take control of the table while another player's item is stored inside.
If the table is broken while an item is stored, the item is returned instead of being deleted.
📘 System Enchantments Guide
V2 includes a complete in-game guide book explaining how every part of the addon works.
Every player receives the guide once when joining. The guide is also configured to remain with the player after death.
The guide contains sections for:
- 🪄 How to Use the Table

✨ 19 Custom Enchantments
Enchantments are divided between combat, tools, armor and utility. Stronger and rarer enchantments require more enchanting power before they can appear.
⚔️ Sword Enchantments — 6
☠️ Poison
Hits poison the target. Higher levels increase the poison strength and duration.
❄️ Ice Aspect
Heavily slows enemies when hit. Higher levels increase the Slowness strength and duration.
⬆️ Levitating
Launches enemies straight upward. Higher levels produce a stronger launch and can result in greater fall damage.
🩸 Vampire
Damaging an enemy restores some of your health. Higher levels restore more health per successful hit.
💀 Wither
Hits inflict the Wither effect. Higher levels increase its strength and duration.
💥 Area Attack
Damaging an enemy also damages nearby entities. Higher levels increase the radius and secondary damage.
Poison, Ice Aspect and Wither conflict with each other and cannot coexist on the same item.
⛏️ Tool Enchantments — 3
🧲 Magnetic
Sneak while holding the enchanted tool to pull nearby dropped items toward you.
Higher levels increase the collection radius.
🟢 XP Collector
Breaking blocks has a chance to grant an additional experience point.
The chance increases with each level and reaches guaranteed bonus XP at Level III.
🌱 Furrowing
Use an enchanted Hoe on valid dirt to create a large square area of farmland.
- Level I — 3x3
- Level II — 5x5
- Level III — 7x7
🛡️ Armor Enchantments — 8
👁️ Night Eyes
Grants Night Vision while the enchanted helmet is equipped.
Removing the helmet removes the enchantment's Night Vision.
❤️ Health
Increases maximum health while the enchanted equipment is worn. Higher levels provide a stronger Health Boost.
🔮 Anti Magic
Continuously removes common negative status effects while the enchanted leggings are equipped.
This includes effects such as Poison, Wither, Slowness, Weakness, Mining Fatigue, Nausea, Blindness and Darkness.
🔥 Fire Immune
Grants Fire Resistance while the enchanted leggings are equipped.
🌊 Water Impulse
While wearing the enchanted leggings in water, sneak to launch yourself in the direction you are looking.
Higher levels provide a stronger impulse.
💨 Agility
Grants Speed while the enchanted boots are equipped.
- Agility I — Speed II
- Agility II — Speed III
- Agility III — Speed IV
🐇 Jump
Grants Jump Boost while the enchanted boots are equipped.
- Jump I — Jump Boost II
- Jump II — Jump Boost III
- Jump III — Jump Boost IV
💢 Shared Damage
When you take damage while wearing the enchanted Chestplate or Elytra, part of that damage is returned to the attacker.
Higher levels increase the reflected damage.
🪽 Elytra & Utility Enchantments — 2
🚀 Impulse
While airborne with the enchanted Elytra equipped, sneak to boost yourself in the direction you are looking.
Higher levels provide significantly stronger boosts.
🌟 Eternal
An item enchanted with Eternal stays with you when you die instead of being dropped.
Eternal is intentionally one of the rarest enchantments available from the table.
💎 Enchantment Rarity
Not every enchantment has the same chance of appearing.
System Enchantments uses different rarity levels:
- Common — More accessible enchantments.
- Uncommon — More specialized effects.
- Rare — Powerful enchantments that require stronger enchanting setups.
- Legendary — Extremely rare enchantments such as Eternal.
Increasing the number of valid bookshelves expands the available enchantment pool and allows stronger magic to appear.
🛡️ Smarter Equipment Effects
Passive enchantments such as Night Eyes, Health, Fire Immune, Agility and Jump only remain active while the correct enchanted equipment is being worn.
Removing that equipment removes the enchantment's effect immediately.
The system also handles compatible external potion effects carefully. When possible, an existing matching effect is preserved and restored instead of simply being lost when enchanted equipment is removed.
Anti Magic works differently because its purpose is specifically to remove supported negative effects.
🧩 Supported Equipment
The current enchanting system supports these equipment categories:
- ⚔️ Swords
