⚙️ Configuration System

System Wolf Armor includes a configuration interface that gives you control over the main addon systems.

Enable Addon Enables or disables the entire System Wolf Armor addon.
Armor Protection Allows wolf armor to reduce damage received by armored wolves.
Armor Durability Enables durability so armor loses durability when the wolf takes damage and can eventually break.
Armor Abilities Enables the special ability associated with each supported armor type.
Equip / Unequip Sounds Enables sounds when wolf armor is equipped or removed.
Break Sound Enables the sound played when wolf armor reaches zero durability and breaks.
Ability Particles Enables particles from armor abilities and effects.

✨ Armor Abilities

Extra abilities can be enabled or disabled through the configuration book. If you prefer the armors to provide protection without special effects, simply disable the armor abilities option.

🟠 Copper Wolf Armor

Copper Wolf Armor gives your wolf a small Strength boost while equipped, helping it deal additional damage in combat.

⚙️ Iron Wolf Armor

Iron Wolf Armor gives your wolf an XP bonus ability. When the armored wolf attacks enemies, it can generate experience orbs.

🟡 Gold Wolf Armor

Gold Wolf Armor gives your wolf a Speed boost, allowing it to move faster, follow the player more easily, and react quicker during combat.

Diamond Wolf Armor gives your wolf a Knockback ability. Attacks can push enemies away, helping keep dangerous mobs at a safer distance.

Netherite Wolf Armor gives your wolf Fire Resistance, making it safer around fire, lava, and while exploring the Nether.

🌊 Prismarine Wolf Armor

Prismarine Wolf Armor provides the same protection as Iron Wolf Armor and additionally grants Conduit Power while armor abilities are enabled in the configuration book.

It can be repaired using Prismarine Shards.

💡 Glowstone Wolf Armor

Glowstone Wolf Armor provides the same protection as Copper Wolf Armor and adds the ability to light up dark areas and caves.

It can be repaired using Glowstone Blocks.

📖 Configuration Book Recipe

If you lose the configuration book given when creating the world, you can craft another one at a Crafting Table using the following recipe.

Armor abilities can be disabled separately through the configuration book.

V1.2 – Copper Wolf Armor

Added Copper Armor for wolves. In this historical version, it had a durability of approximately 25 hits and damage equivalent to a Netherite Sword.

Original Armor Protection Information

Earlier versions described the original wolf armors using approximate resistance values against attacks equivalent to a Netherite Sword:

  • Gold Wolf Armor: approximately 20 hits.
  • Iron Wolf Armor: approximately 30 hits.
  • Diamond Wolf Armor: approximately 40 hits.
  • Netherite Wolf Armor: approximately 50 hits.

Weaker attacks could consume less durability, while stronger attacks could reduce armor resistance more quickly.
