Smart Detection Designed for normal survival gameplay. Uses stricter checks to identify natural trees and helps prevent wooden structures from being accidentally destroyed.
Relaxed Detection Supports more log variants such as stripped logs and wood blocks while maintaining basic tree validation.
Connected Blocks Great for custom trees and other Minecraft Bedrock addons, allowing compatible connected logs to be chopped with fewer restrictions.

🌱 Automatic Replanting

Enable Automatic Replanting and Definitive Tree Capitator can automatically plant another sapling after chopping a valid tree.

Supports normal trees as well as large 2×2 trees, provided you have the required saplings in your inventory.

Latest Update – Tree Types & Localization Improvements

🌐 Translations

  • All new Tree Types text now uses .lang localization keys.
  • Removed hardcoded text related to this new feature.
  • Added 19 new translation keys.
  • Translated the new feature into all 29 languages supported by the addon.
  • The names of all available tree types have also been translated.
  • Formatting codes such as § are preserved correctly.
  • Dynamic placeholders such as %%1 and %%2 are also preserved.

🔧 Internal Changes

  • Updated the configuration system to store enabled and disabled tree types individually for each player.
  • Integrated the new configuration with the existing configuration book system.
  • All language files now contain the same 171 keys.
  • Reviewed and validated the localization structure to prevent missing or duplicated keys.
  • Verified script syntax after the changes.

📥 Installation

  1. Download both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack.
  2. Import both packs into Minecraft Bedrock.
  3. Activate Definitive Tree Capitator BP in Behavior Packs.
  4. Activate Definitive Tree Capitator RP in Resource Packs.
  5. Enter your world and start chopping trees.

No experimental gameplay is required.
