Portable sleeping bags for adventures, multiplayer worlds and Realms.

Sleeping Bag adds portable sleeping bags inspired by the classic Java mod idea. Place one at night, interact with it and after a short sleep sequence the world changes to morning.

Sleeping bags are easy to craft, available in all 16 Minecraft wool colors, work well for travel and multiplayer, and do not change your respawn point.

📘 Sleeping Bag Settings

Every player receives the Sleeping Bag Settings item the first time they join the world.

The item uses an enchanted book icon and opens a personal settings menu.

Each player can enable or disable:

Sleep Camera
Sleep Messages
Sneak + Interact Pickup
Recolor Placed Bags

There is also a How to Use button that explains the main mechanics directly in-game.

These settings only affect the player who changes them.

🎥 Sleep Camera

Sleeping Bag includes a small camera effect during the sleep sequence. When enabled, movement and camera control are briefly locked while the view tilts.

Players who prefer a cleaner or faster experience can disable the Sleep Camera.

💬 Sleep Messages

Sleeping Bag can display useful actionbar/status messages such as:

Sleeping…
You can only sleep at night
The sleeping bag is already being used
Your sleep was interrupted
The sleeping bag is incomplete

These messages can be disabled from your personal settings.

🎒 Quick Pickup

When enabled, use Sneak + Interact on a placed sleeping bag to quickly pack it up.

This is useful when traveling, exploring or frequently moving a temporary camp.

If you prefer normal block breaking, this option can be disabled.

🎨 Recolor Placed Sleeping Bags

Vanilla dyes can be used directly on a placed sleeping bag to change its color.

Recoloring updates both halves of the sleeping bag.

In Survival, one dye is consumed.

This option can also be disabled from the Settings book.

🌙 How to Sleep

Place the sleeping bag on the ground.
Make sure there is enough space for both parts.
Interact with it at night.
Wait for the short sleep sequence.
The world changes to morning.

Sleeping bags do not change your respawn point.

👥 Multiplayer Improvements

Improved multiplayer sleep sessions
Better handling when two players try to use the same sleeping bag
Optional feedback when a sleeping bag is already in use
Personal settings remain independent for every player

🧱 Improved Two-Block Behavior

Sleeping bags occupy two block spaces. Placement now checks that both spaces are available before creating the bag, so nearby blocks are not replaced when there is not enough room.

Breaking one half also clears the matching second half correctly.
