Purchased worlds, skins and add-ons can sometimes appear missing from Minecraft Bedrock. In most cases the content still belongs to the account but is hidden by a sign-in, download, subscription or cache problem. This guide follows the current Minecraft Help recommendations.

Before troubleshooting: Do not buy the same item again. Confirm which Microsoft account originally obtained it and keep Minecraft connected to the internet.

1. Check the Microsoft account

Open Minecraft and confirm that the gamertag matches the account used for the purchase or download. Marketplace ownership follows the Microsoft account, so content will not appear when another profile is active. Sign out, restart the game and sign back in if the displayed account is wrong.

2. Check My Content

Open the Marketplace and visit My Content. Find the missing world, skin pack, texture pack or add-on. If it appears but is not installed, download it again and allow the progress indicator to finish before opening a world.

3. Confirm the subscription

Content obtained through Marketplace Pass or Realms Plus depends on an active subscription and the current catalog. If a lock icon appears, verify the renewal status. Catalog items can rotate out; players can purchase an item separately when they want permanent access.

4. Update Minecraft and restart

  1. Close Minecraft completely.
  2. Install the newest stable update offered by the platform store.
  3. Restart the console, phone, tablet or PC.
  4. Open Minecraft and wait for account and Marketplace data to synchronize.

5. Check storage and downloads

Make sure the device has enough free storage. Interrupted downloads can leave packs incomplete, so remove only the damaged local download from Minecraft storage and download the owned item again from My Content. Avoid deleting worlds while cleaning Marketplace files.

6. Clear Marketplace cache when appropriate

If thumbnails, ownership or downloads remain stuck, follow the platform-specific Minecraft Help instructions for clearing Marketplace cache. A cache reset should refresh Marketplace data; it does not replace the need to use the correct Microsoft account.

Common situations

The item came from Marketplace Pass

Confirm the subscription is active and that the item remains in the catalog. Minecraft Help notes that subscription content can become unavailable when the subscription expires or the catalog changes.

The download button keeps returning

Check the connection, free storage and game version, then restart before trying again. Let one download finish at a time.

The content works on one device only

Use the same Microsoft account on both devices. Some platform entitlements and local files may still require a fresh download on each device.

When to contact support

Contact Minecraft Support when the correct account shows a completed purchase but My Content still does not offer the item after updating, restarting and re-downloading. Include the item name, platform and purchase receipt when available.
