Combat projects for Minecraft Bedrock range from compact gun systems to broader arsenals with crafting materials, ammunition and melee options. These four projects come from different creators and are compared using their official CurseForge descriptions.

Compatibility check: Weapon projects often require both behavior and resource packs. Match the download to your Bedrock version and test multiplayer balance before adding one to an established Realm.

1. Syntax's Weaponry — Studio38

Syntax's Weaponry provides multiple firearms for survival combat, hostile mobs or player-versus-player maps. Its official page states that it is achievement compatible, does not need experiments, avoids player files and includes custom sounds, automatic reloading and a lightweight design.

The crafting system goes beyond handing the player finished guns. Potassium nitrate and sulfur appear in desert, savanna and mesa biomes; these combine with coal for gunpowder. Zinc can appear while mining copper or iron and is smelted before combining with copper into brass. The page also documents 9mm, .45 ACP, 12-gauge, 5.56mm and 7.62mm ammunition.

Both behavior and resource packs are required. The creator says players can sneak beside a crafting table to open the gun crafting interface, where each weapon lists its materials.

2. Guns & Swords — HowardAddon

Guns & Swords combines ranged weapons, explosives and a large melee selection. The firearm list on the official page includes rifles, pistols, machine guns, a revolver and a sniper, while the sword side covers familiar material tiers plus fantasy blades, short and broad swords, katanas and special variants.

The melee portion is more than a cosmetic reskin: the creator says swords can grant buffs while held and can be used in the offhand. The project therefore fits players who want to switch between ranged pressure and close combat without installing separate packs.

CurseForge lists Bedrock 26.30, 26.20 and 26.10. The page warns that both BP and RP are needed or the weapons will appear invisible, so activate both packs before troubleshooting models.

3. Weapons and Combat — Nurm12

Weapons and Combat focuses on craftable firearms and their supporting workstations. The official description explains that the weapons use dedicated recipes and that material costs vary, creating different progression levels before a player can obtain each weapon.

Recipes draw from familiar resources such as iron, gold, diamond and lapis lazuli. Gunpowder is especially important because ammunition has its own workbench. That progression makes mining and resource planning part of the combat system instead of separating the arsenal from normal survival play.

The current main file shown on CurseForge targets Bedrock 1.21.111. Check the Files section if you are using a newer client.

4. Gun and Katana — FerousQue

Gun and Katana has a simpler goal: combine high-damage ranged weapons with fast melee combat. The creator describes guns as a safer way to fight threats at range and katanas as precise close-range options, giving survival players two distinct approaches within one project.

The official page lists the project under weapons, realistic, technology, survival and PvP categories, with versions for Bedrock 26.50, 26.30 and 26.10. Its description is brief, so review the gallery and exact file before installing rather than assuming mechanics that the creator has not documented.

Which combat project fits your world?

Pick Syntax's Weaponry for documented crafting materials and ammunition, Guns & Swords for the widest melee-and-ranged mix, Weapons and Combat for workbench-based progression, or Gun and Katana for a focused ranged and melee combination. In Realms, agree on rules before enabling powerful weapons so progression and PvP remain fair.

Selection note: Features and supported versions can change. Check each creator's page before installing and keep a backup of important worlds.
