🧱 Blocklings – Minecraft Bedrock
Tame mineral-shaped creatures and keep them as pets.
Blocklings adds new mineral-shaped entities to Minecraft Bedrock that can be tamed and kept as pets.
They can defend you, accompany you during your adventure, and come in different mineral variants.
The addon is described as available for Minecraft versions 1.21 and newer.
🧱 How Blocklings Work
Blocklings are mineral-shaped entities that can be tamed as pets. They can defend the player and accompany them during their adventure.
They appear in caves, and the addon description states that killing one will likely make it drop the addon's gold.
💎 Blockling Variants
Blocklings come in several mineral variants.
According to the addon description, the mineral embedded in the Blockling affects how much health it has: more valuable minerals have more health, while less useful minerals have less.
🐾 Taming Blocklings
Blocklings can be tamed using Iron Ingots or Gold Ingots.
Each attempt has a 10% chance of taming the Blockling.
Once tamed, you can make the Blockling sit by crouching and interacting with it.

⚔️ Giving Swords to Blocklings
In this version, Blocklings can use vanilla swords, including enchanted swords.
Swords can also be removed from the Blockling through its interface.
The original update text notes that, for now, only vanilla swords can be placed in the slot and that support for other item types may be added later.

New buttons were added to the Blockling interface.
- Passive: The Blockling does not attack mobs.
- Aggressive: The Blockling attacks mobs that you attack.
- Rename: Changes the Blockling's name through the interface.

- Blocklings can now spawn on the surface.
- Added a new design to the Blockling interface.

The addon does not use player.json, allowing it to be used
with almost any other addon.
🧪 No Experimental Features
The addon does not require experimental gameplay to work correctly.
