🐉 Rise of the Wyverns – Minecraft Bedrock
Add multiple hostile wyverns to your survival world.
This addon adds a wide variety of wyverns that appear throughout your survival world. They are hostile, but they can be tamed while they are babies.
Wyverns have 3 types of attacks, and the addon also includes additional systems such as wyvern shields, storage, structures, eggs, and wyvern armor.
🐉 Wyvern Variants
☠️ Poison Wyvern
The Poison Wyvern spawns in swamp biomes. Its poisonous projectiles can poison anyone near the impact.
🔥 Fire Wyvern
The Fire Wyvern appears in the extreme hills biome during both day and night.
Its projectile can cause an explosion and set the target on fire. The original description also notes that it can provide interesting loot when killed.
☠️ Wither Wyvern
The Wither Wyvern appears in the plains biome at night. Its effect is described as being similar to the Poison Wyvern.
❄️ Ice Wyvern
The Ice Wyvern appears in the ice biome during both day and night.
If its ranged attack hits directly, it applies a Slowness effect, making escape more difficult.
🏜️ Ground Wyvern
The Ground Wyvern appears in the desert biome during both day and night.
Its projectile is described as more powerful than those of other wyverns. It has no secondary effect, but its ranged attack can kill the player in one hit.
🟣 Ender Wyvern
The Ender Wyvern appears in the savannah biome and only during the night.
Its projectile can produce an effect described as similar to the Ender Dragon's dragon breath. Its eyes can also be obtained for crafting.
🆕 Update V2.8 – Wyvern Shields
This update added a total of 6 Wyvern Shields, one for each Wyvern variant.
These shields apply different effects to enemies when they hit the shield. Each shield has 600 durability points and can be repaired at an anvil using scales from the corresponding Wyvern type.
The shields are crafted at a Crafting Table. The Wyvern scales used depend on the shield variant being crafted.
🔥 Fire Wyvern Shield
Burns mobs that hit the shield.
❄️ Ice Wyvern Shield
Applies Slowness V to mobs that hit the shield.
☠️ Poison Wyvern Shield
Applies Poison to mobs that hit the shield.
🟣 Ender Wyvern Shield
Teleports mobs that hit the shield 10 blocks upward.
☠️ Wither Wyvern Shield
Applies the Wither effect to mobs that hit the shield.
🏜️ Ground Wyvern Shield
Deals a total of 5 damage to the entity that hit the shield.
🆕 Update V1.4
📦 Wyvern Chest Mechanic
Chests can be added to the Wyvern's inventory by placing them in the second inventory slot.
This adds a total of 9 item storage slots. The original update text notes that methods to increase the number of slots may be added in future versions.
🏛️ Wyvern Structures
Wyvern structures were added and spawn throughout the world. Wyverns inside remain inactive until the player approaches them, at which point they rise and attack.
Chests containing loot can also be found in these structures.
🥚 Wyvern Egg Models
The models and textures of Wyvern eggs were improved in this update.
🛡️ Wyvern Armor
Wyvern armor was added for players. It provides the same protection as Diamond Armor but is described as being much more durable.
The armor is crafted at a Crafting Table using Wyvern scales.
Wyvern scales are obtained by killing Wyverns. The original description specifies an 80% chance of obtaining scales, with 0 to 2 scales obtainable from a kill.
There are 6 types of scales for the different armor types.

The addon does not use player.json, allowing it to be used
with almost any other addon.
🧪 No Experimental Features
The addon does not require experimental gameplay to work correctly.
