🔨 Hammer Time 2D – Minecraft Bedrock
Add powerful custom tools with area mining, digging, tree cutting, knockback, and more.
Hammer Time 2D is based on the Minecraft Java mod of the same name and adds custom tools with special abilities.
The addon includes hammers that can break areas, great swords, great axes, hoes, and shovels, together with an in-game configuration system for controlling how these abilities work.
🛠️ Custom Tools
Hammer Time has a total of 5 new tools intended to make different survival tasks faster and more efficient.

These tools can be made from several materials, including Diamond, Iron, Obsidian, Netherite, Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, Gold, Wood, Stone, and Emerald.
Each material varies in durability and block-breaking speed.

🔧 Durability Cost
A new Durability Cost option was added to the Configuration Book.
This option allows players to modify how much durability an item loses when its custom ability is used.
⚙️ Tools Config – Update 2.2.1
The Tools Config item lets players customize how Hammer Time's custom tools work directly in-game.
From this menu, players can enable, disable, or adjust features related to area mining, digging, farming, tree cutting, drops, sounds, particles, durability, and knockback.
🔨 Hammer Area Mining
Enables or disables area mining for hammers. When enabled, compatible blocks can be broken in a 3x3 or 5x5 area, depending on the selected Area Size.
⛏️ Shovel Area Digging
Enables or disables area digging for great shovels. When enabled, shovels can dig multiple compatible blocks at once.
🍃 Sickle Leaves Breaking
Enables or disables area leaf breaking for sickles. When enabled, sickles can break leaves in an area.
🪓 Axe Tree Capitator
Enables or disables Tree Capitator for great axes. When enabled, connected logs from a tree can be broken at once.
🌱 Path / Farm Actions
Enables or disables special right-click tool actions.
These include turning grass or dirt into paths, converting ground blocks into farmland, and stripping logs with axes.
📦 Drops
Controls whether blocks affected by special area-breaking abilities drop their items.
- Enabled: Blocks drop items normally.
- Disabled: Blocks are removed without dropping items.
📊 Actionbar Counter
Shows or hides an actionbar message displaying how many blocks were affected by the tool ability.
🔊 Sounds
Enables or disables sound effects when Hammer Time tool abilities are used.
✨ Particles
Enables or disables particles when Hammer Time tool abilities are used.
🛠️ Custom Durability
Enables or disables Hammer Time's custom durability system.
When enabled, tools lose durability when their custom abilities are used. When disabled, this custom durability system is not applied.
🎮 Activation Mode
Controls when custom tool abilities can be used.
- Not Sneaking: Abilities only work while the player is not sneaking.
- Sneaking Only: Abilities only work while sneaking.
- Always: Abilities work while sneaking or not sneaking.
📐 Area Size
Changes the area affected by hammers, shovels, sickles, and path/farm actions.

🧱 Area Block Limit
Sets the maximum number of blocks that area tools can affect in one use.
🌳 Tree Block Limit
Sets the maximum number of logs that Tree Capitator can break in one use.
⚔️ Great Sword Knockback
Enables or disables knockback applied by great swords when hitting entities.
💨 Knockback Power
Changes the strength of Great Sword knockback.

🔄 Reset Config
Resets all Tools Config options back to their default values.

The addon does not use player.json, allowing it to be used
